Splendid Table

My “Splendid Table” interview runs tomorrow. Check to see if your local NPR affiliate airs the show!

May 22, 2010 We’re learning to eat on the cheap with Christopher Greenslate and Kerri Leonard, authors of On A Dollar A Day. The Sterns have found first-rate tidewater seafood at Sting Rays in Cape Charles, VA. And Gordon Edgar, author of Cheesemonger, A Life on the Wedge explains the intersection of punk rock and cheesemaking.

More tour stories next week. I have to go to the store and buy cheese now.

  1. Just finished reading the book, I LOVED IT. Pimped you out in my last blog and hoping some of my friends by it as well. Forced my kids to try Taleggio last night and they ate it all up, thanks for the recommend. You are now part of my regular shopping trip.

When will you be in Texas to talk cheese? I have QUESTIONS!

    • If my book had come out in 2009 like originally planned I would have done a whole Texas tour around the American Cheese Society conference. Alas, I can’t see it happening any time soon. My girlfriend and I have just started discussing a road trip through Texas (She’s from Lubbock) in 2011 sometime, but not a book tour.

      Thanks for the pimping!

  2. Just today (June 6) heard Splendid Table episode via podcast that featured Lynne Rossetto Kasper’s interviewing you. Great to hear it, really interesting remarks on cheese politics and Vermont cheese.
